Errata for Fifth Edition, First Printing (PDF)

The author welcomes e-mail messages that notify him of typos or other errors that should be corrected on the next printing of the Fifth Edition. Please send them to him at charles.calleros@asu.edu.

Colleagues have spotted a small number of such typos or other mistakes. Most are obvious typos, such as an extra "the" in a phrase and do not require mention on this page. The attached file contains the more substantive mistakes that may cause confusion if not corrected.
